Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner and personally I am craving a margarita! Of course, I am going to have to wait until after I have the baby to have one, but a girl can dream! Instead on focusing on the margaritas this Cinco de Mayo, I am focusing on the Cinco de Mayo outfits. Here are a few outfit inspirations for Mexican Independence Day, aka Cinco de Mayo.
Outfit #1 for Cinco de Mayo
This Cinco de Mayo outfit is for those of us blessed with flat tummies. If you’ve got it, I say embrace it! This outfit also features one of the Pantone Spring 2013 colors, linen. This skirt will get a ton of use this spring and beyond. It really is a classic. It would look great on women with hips. I usually wear these skirts to emphasize my waist.
Outfit #2 for Cinco de Mayo
Outfit #3 for Cinco de Mayo
Wear traditional Mexican colors while being on trend by pairing this green ikat print maxi skirt with this black and white stripe top. The high contrast spring trend was seen all over the spring 2013 runways. I recently dressed my sister in a similar black and white top.
Outfit #4 for Cinco de Mayo
Go all out for Cinco de Mayo by pairing 2 ikat prints together. This outfit is so sexy and you have to be ready for some serious attention if you take the plunge. If I was still single, I would be wearing this with red undergarments.
Outfit #5 for Cinco de Mayo
This is by far my favorite of this group. I would wear this black and white ensemble everyday!
