Halloween is my favorite holiday and I take it pretty seriously. I started looking for elements of this look several months ago. First I ordered the wig. Then I scowered the earth in search of a worthing suit or dress that had the Capital Style we are all fond of. I found it pinning on Pinterest one day. It is a great dress because I definitely will be wearing it again.
To really become Effie Trinket from the Reaping scene in the Hunger Games, I enlisted the expertise of makeup artist Maria Ines Serritella. A video showing how to do this makeup is coming soon. It is in the editing room as I type.
Frenchy Pink Wig, Leg Avenue, Cranberry and Purple Flowers, April Golightly DIY (purple roses to use in a clip DIY or this burgundy rose clip already made) and the amazing dress from Mera Dress, Laura Galic. I found some awesome purple and cranberry booties to go with the look as well. Check out these amethyst booties and I could definitely see Effie rocking these booties, but these are by far the best.
