Ahhh! I cannot tell you how excited I am for this movie! This trailer seals the deal. We will be going nuts until it actually releases in the theaters. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first of the stand-alone Star Wars film to be released and features the story of the team that would steal the plans for the Death Star. The movie is directed by Gareth Edwards and features Felicity Jones in the lead role. The film also stars Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
What is exciting about the Star Wars Rogue One trailer?
There is just so much to unpack in this trailer! I was very excited to see this scene of Darth Vader appear in it.
I had heard a while back that Vader was going to make an appearance, and they hinted at his presence in previous trailers, but this is the first full body shot of the Dark Lord himself. I’m excited for more Vader action, no matter how much we get in the film!
Also recently released is this poster for the film, which is a true call back to the posters of the original trilogy.
