This Winter Cocktail is as delicious at it looks and perfect for any party or get-together that you host this season.

Winter Cocktail Recipe

I love hot chocolate as much as the next person but honestly, after months of having it as the go-to drink (seriously, why when the chilly temps come around we start drinking it non-stop?) I’m ready to have something different. However, I still want to have all the chocolaty sweet goodness that comes with the hot chocolates. The solution? Making a big batch of this winter cocktail and sharing it with friends.

This is thick and creamy, it’s also full of chocolate flavor and it has the perfect dose of sweetness that hot chocolate should have, which means we get enough for it to be indulgent but not as much that it becomes too overpowering. Seriously, it’s amazingly delicious and can be made with or without alcohol which is also pretty amazing if you ask me.

And then it’s the fact that the glass is rimmed which makes it look frosted and glitter and a whole new level of really beautiful and wintery. Riming a glass is really easy and you are just going to need some water and sugar + it takes some whole 5 seconds per glass so even if you are hosting a rather big party you’ll still have time for it (that or create a rim your own glass station which may also be really amazing and a really fun experience for your guests).

My only advice is to go big on the ice because the fun of this drink is that’s really ice cold. The ice will mingle so nicely with the thick chocolate that’s just amazing.

Make a big batch and get the party going my friend because this is about to become your go-to drink.
