Chocolate Chia Pudding

This pudding is incredibly indulgent. Every bite tastes like your favorite dessert. And since you are making it from scratch, you control the sweetness.

I love eating the chocolate chia pudding after dinner. It’s one of my favorite sweet treats. I also like packing it in mini mason jars and taking it with me when I pack a lunch on picnics or other all-day things. It travels so well.

There are so many healthy things about this pudding. The almond milk, the chia seeds, and the pumpkin puree, all make this a protein-packed snack that fuels my body all day.

The texture is so creamy. The chia seeds add a little fun crunch! They really are my favorite thing about this recipe.

Chocolate Chia Pudding Shopping List

Before you make this chocolate chia pudding, here is what you will need from the store:

  • Almond Milk
  • Stevia
  • Chia Seeds
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Health Benefits of Chia Seeds

I love adding chia seeds to some of my favorite recipes. There are so many amazing health benefits of chia seeds.

First, they are an amazing source of fiber! Yup, just one one-ounce serving of chia seeds has 11 grams of fiber. So that means in my recipe, there are 22 grams of fiber from the chia seeds alone.

There are also 4 grams of protein in each ounce of chia seeds. Protein is fantastic for your muscles, blood sugar, and brain.

And they are packed with other key nutrients too, such as Manganese, Magnesium, and Phosphorus.

Chocolate Chia Pudding Pops

Something fun you can try is to pour the finished pudding into silicone popsicle molds and freeze them. They will make delicious chocolate pudding pops! The chia seeds will add a unique texture that I think you’ll enjoy.

Recipe Variations

You can alter this recipe in a bunch of ways to match your own unique tastes. Here are a few of my favorite ways to change up the recipe.

Use any other non-dairy milk. Try cashew milk. It adds a slightly different taste. You can also try coconut milk.

Dip fruit into the pudding for a fun snack idea. You can also dip banana chips into the pudding. You can also add some nice layers cashews inside the bowl of chia pudding so you get some cashews with each bite.
