Cinnamon Roll Hot Dogs (7 of 10)

Cinnamon Roll Hot Dogs (9 of 10)

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Pillsbury. All ideas and opinions are my own.

My daughter has been asking for hot dogs a lot lately. Now, I have started to stock them in the fridge because she is always asking for them randomly. Most of the time, the buns disappear more quickly than the hot dogs. This can cause issues with my demanding toddler. After yet another trip to the grocery store in the late evening after I have already made dinner, I came up with the idea of grabbing biscuits and cinnamon buns to wrap around the hot dogs as I bake them. This cinnamon roll hot dog recipe is super easy to make because you really only have to wrap the cinnamon roll around the hot dog and then bake it. So simple and it has become my daughter’s favorite way to eat hot dogs.

  1. It’s like you told your three children to randomly go pick three things and you would make a dish with them. Hotdogs, yogurt, and cinnamon rolls? That’s the best you got? I know blogging can be hard, coming up with new recipes and all, but seriously? How about breakfast sausages, or, I don’t know, not doing the recipe! What, in all that’s good and holy about cooking, would possess you to make such crap? I’ve seen your other recipes, they all look fine. They look like you put some thought into them. This looks like you woke up from a meth binge and grabbed whatever you head on the fridge. I know how blogging works, and I know you did not eat these. These went to the trash. You seem like a pleasant woman. One with enough smarts about her to not blog hobo food. It’s not even good hobo food like Brunswick Stew or trashcan chili. Nope it’s an effing Bar S hotdog wrapped in store bought cinnamon rolls. Them drizzled with yogurt and sugar. Dear God, Escoffier is rolling over in his grave seeing where cooking has come. Please stick to Crock-Pot potatoes and cute Valentine’s. That seems to be about the extent of your reach.

Hi, my name is Dason Sato. I recently had seven children. Two died of cookie dough related diseases, however the rest are hungry and ready for some dishes!
Today I recently tried something new, hot dog cinnamon roll, because my son likes our dogs and cinnamon roles, so I figured the best way to teach him the dog will die is by having him eat a hot dog, while also expressing the bitter sweet side of death, (the funeral party) through cinnamon roll flavoring as well.
When I first shoved the greecy hot doggy flavors between the fresh cinnamon role covering, I could already tell it was gonna be one heck of a treat. The flavors of the hot dog began to transform into something new, like a cinnamon hot doggy super saiyan of flavor. As I left it to bake, I noticed a familiar tune coming from my music box I had as a child. It was miley cyruses wrecking ball, so I knew that god must be sending me a sign that this food was gonna wreck house. ; )
Once it was finished, the cinamony meat aroma was strong to the nose, as the greece itself had dripped into the cinnamon covering to create a fusion of sorts between the two seperate foods. My curiosity peaked when I had one of Tim Allen’s (sons first and middle name) in my mouth. I was pleasantly surprised to find the magic between my tastebuds was actually stronger than the incredulous smell itself. It was like having a party in my mouth, and this time, I was invited. If I was a more sensible man, I wouldn’t have taken the second one from my children, but alas, the cinnamon hot dog roll awoke something primal in me, and my more basic instincts kicked in as I went for the second bite. After a bit of waiting, my grumpy children came in, a little mad and ungrateful that I had taken some of there food without there consent. I would ignore this and tell them they could have extra rations of water this week. (We only drink a certain amount of gallons of water a week, and donate the rest to the ocean) My children were naturally floored by this food, and it may have to become a may stay classic in the Sato household. I can not express my gratitude for this article being written, and I hope only the best. Yours truly, Mr. Sato.

    Hello,
I made these and it was the best thing ever! I have 13 children and one on the way, and I make this dish every Christmas morning as we all sit by the fire in our modern cabin. Sadly, last year I made this dish and my 3 youngest children left the house. Maybe they were excited to spread the recipe around? Oh well! Bless their souls! I think their doing okay but I did see a magazine of “unsolved” murders and 2 children that died looked like mine! Hmmmm… Crazy. I sometimes make these secretly at night for a tasty snack. Haha if i could only give these a 10 star rating.

    • Me too! I saw people on some magazine of the unsolved murders and there was one child that looked like mine, but he became a very successful person so I doubt that was him. I also really love this recipe!

    • Actually, i dont have bread. I am a mother of seven children and my german girlfriend whom all love to eat bread. So the moment I buy bread, all of my bread gets eaten, almost as if they disappear. Ive tried to tell my german girlfriend to stop eating the bread, she is a vegetarian though so she cant eat really anything else. You should consider expanding your demographic. Lesbians cant stop eating bread. Thank you for being rude.

      • maybe you should dump your german girlfriend and find a russian girlfriend who will stop eating all your bread and eat your children instead.

  5. I seriously cannot get enough of this recipe. Though it reminds me of something my alcoholic dad would make, I am happy to say that its definitely better than any of his dishes. My only complaint about this recipe is that not enough people know about it! Though this recipe has quickly become a family favorite, I never get tired of it! This has been my comfort meal since my oldest daughter left me for good. When I first saw this recipe I just knew this treat would be so delish!

Oh my god I LOVED this recipe!! Ignore all the haters who would criticize someone with such a unique vision!! It’s people like you who pioneer the food of the future!! 🚀

I will say that I was a bit skeptical at first , but once I had a bite I could not get enough!! I ate every dog from my first batch.
Oh my stars I had to share that goodness with my friends!😆😆😆

    The strangest thing happened though!
For whatever reason, after my buddy ,Allen, took a bite, he would not stop coughing!! I thought his asthma was flaring up! And I was like “Asthma attacks suck don’t they?”, But he would not stop coughing for anything!! I put his inhaler on the table and he didn’t even use it! 😳

Anyways, paramedics later determined the cause of death was Asphyxiation, whatever that even means. Big medicine using their big and fancy words to make us simply folk look dumb!!🙄

I passed out in the chair at his bedside. Too many dogs!! They had to pump my stomach!!😳
It was worth it and I will do it again!!

I’m sad that he died 😖..but
I’m so happy that his last meel was such a good one. Thank you for sharing
    😇 🕊
