Easy Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe made in the traditional copper mug made with vodka, fresh lime juice, Ginger Beer, a spring of mint and slice of lime Moscow Mules have been my go to drink since I discovered it a few years ago. I don’t even really like ginger ale, but I do love the taste of ginger. That is how my friend convinced me to try it. Now matter your flavor palette, definitely try a Moscow Mule asap. You can try it at home by ordering the ginger beer online if they don’t carry it in your local grocery store or if you don’t have a decent liquor store in your town.

If you want to try it at a restaurant or bar, make sure it is on the menu first. An inexperienced bartender can ruin the experience for you by substituting Ginger Beer for Ginger Ale or worse yet mixing coke and sprite to make ginger ale. Yes, they do that! I heard a server ask this recently and my head nearly exploded.

First, start by filling your copper cup with ice.

Next, add in 2 ounces of vodka on top of the ice.

Squeeze 1/2 ounce of fresh lime juice on top. Top off the glass with 5 ounces of Ginger Beer.

Serve garnished with a spring of mint and a slice of lime.
