Going to a theme park can be a stressful endeavor, but it is much more fun if you pace yourself and use these tips on how to be comfortable at a theme park to your advantage.

Choose the Right Day

Weekdays in the offseason are the best days to go to a theme park. We went to Legoland Florida on a Friday instead of the weekend, and there were barely any lines. All the wait times were 5 minutes. Can you image?!

Skip the Lines

If you cannot choose the right day, buy a fast pass or something similar at the park you are going to. Why wait in line when you could skip the lines.

Have a Plan of Action

Research the park before going so that you know your way around and which rides and shows you want to focus. Make reservations if you can for restaurants and shows so that you don’t waste time in the park.

Protect your Feet

Any time that I know I will be on my feet for longer than 2 hours straight, I prepare by bringing my blister busters – COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions.

I know my shoes pretty well so in know where my shoes will rub. I prevent blisters by putting COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions where the rubbing is the worst. I also bring the pack with me just in case the shoes rub where I don’t anticipate.

Converse Sneakers

This weekend the family went to Legoland, and I wanted to be ready to sprint after a running munchkin in sneakers. I am not a huge sneaker person, so I only have the ones that I wear to the gym and my converse. Since Converse are both functional and stylish, I decided to wear them. Of course, the more material a shoe has, the more likely I am to get blisters, I prepped my feet with COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions on my heel and baby toe. COMPEED® Blister Cushions work as a second skin to relieve pain fast and stays in place all day. They act as a barrier that protects against water, dirt and bacteria.

I picked up the COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions at Walgreens last week in this cute little display in the shoe cushion area. They are only available at Walgreens.

  1. I need those shorts! I have that pair of chucks, and I love them. I need to try using this product to avoid blisters since you are SO right about them rubbing against our heels! #client
