I have been diligently reducing my calorie intake using the Weight Watcher program over the last few months. I have lost 11 pounds so far which is wonderful, but I have a long way to go.

My goal is to lose about 50 lbs. It is not an easy feet juggling working 50 + hours per week, having a toddler to run after, and spending time with family and friends on the weekend.

How to Cut Calories with Low Calorie Drinks

I feel like the calories come out of the woodwork on the weekend when I am spending time with family and friends. Everyone is cooking high-calorie meals and pouring high-calorie drinks.

I have started bringing my food and drinks so that I can control what is going into my body. I bring salads like this pineapple salad, tomato salad, and watermelon salad to fill up on while I am at parties. Of course, I bring enough for everyone so that I am not excluding anyone who wants to cut calories and eat some yummy fruit.

White Claw Calories

I also bring my drinks to the weekend parties so that I know how many calories I am drinking. I found a low-calorie drink that is easy to bring with me to parties. It is called White Claw Hard Seltzer.

It is an all new type of alcohol refreshment that is 100% natural, low carb and gluten free sparkling seltzer water with 5% alcohol and just a hint of fresh fruit.

The Best White Claw Flavors

White Claw Hard Seltzers comes in fabulous flavors: Lime, Black Cherry and Ruby Grapefruit. My favorite is Black Cherry. These timeless qualities are more relevant than ever given today’s emphasis on having healthier lifestyles and making more balanced choices.

I love that I don’t have to increase my Fit Bit steps to drink one of these Hard Seltzers. They are refreshing and perfect for outdoor summer fun. White Claw is not a beer or cider, making it completely new and considerably lighter than a cocktail or beer that will leave drinkers satisfied and refreshed, but not full.

Who Owns White Claw?

Mark Anthony the singer and ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez is the owner of White Claw.

What is a White Claw?

The name is so cool. I am a BIG FAN of the weight watcher friendly drink and the name! White Claws are freakishly large, big waves that only seem to happen in the ocean when the conditions are just right…dry, hot days when the air is heavy with the promise of a storm.

The waves swell in sets of three and then crash, leaving a cool refreshing spray that lingers in the air for days. Like the legendary ‘White Claw’ waves, White Claw brings a new definition in refreshment; one that is simple and pure.

  1. I have not heard of these before! I love the Weight Watchers program, I am working on redropping some of the weight I put back on during the divorce. It really is crazy how fast calories can add up when you are sitting around talking with the girl friends!

  3. Hmm never heard of these. Calories are the devil I hate them and you can pack them on so fast that you don’t even know. Breakfast for me will take a good chance of what I am supposed to have per day.

  7. Congratulations on your weight loss! It is so hard to keep going when progress doesn’t seem to happen a quick as you want it to. Summer barbecues are my weakness. I love sitting around with family and friends indulging in food.

  8. It is so hard to eat healthy at summer get-togethers, that is, unless there are fresh healthy options! I follow a mainly vegan diet so I have no choice but to steer clear from a lot of the fat and calorie-laden foods!

  11. Mark Anthony, JLo’s husband, does not own White Claw. The Mark Anthony Group out of Vancouver, BC created the brand. They are not associated.
