Everyone in my house loves popcorn and Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP is an easy to grab snack food. Today, I brought snacking to the next level by making Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP popcorn balls. They went fast and I barely had time to get pictures of them before they were gone! You know you have a winner when this happens! If you are making them for a party, I would hide them or make extra to give a buffer for grabby family members. 😉

Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Flavors

Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Sea Salt Popcorn

This is one of my favorite flavors and goes so nicely in a marshmallow popcorn balls. The Sea Salt Popcorn has simple ingredients of just popcorn, sea salt, and sunflower oil. These three ingredients go a long way when it comes to the big flavor you get from this bag of popcorn. It’s also a great source of whole grain and 35 calories a cup, making it a great choice for snacking and for this popcorn ball recipe.

  • 1 Bag Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP –  4.5 oz to 4.8 oz

  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Put half the bag of Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP in a large bowl.
  4. Pour half the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn.
  5. Using a large spoon or rubber spatula, mix together.
  6. Sprinkle a tablespoon of colored sprinkles on top.
  7. Mix in the sprinkles with a rubber spatula.
  8. Repeat the process of mixing the popcorn and melted marshmallow.
  9. Wash your hands and leave them a little bit wet so that you can mold the popcorn into balls. You have to wash them for every 2 balls you mold otherwise your hands will stick to the marshmallow.
  10. Do the popcorn ball need more color? Add some more sprinkles to the top. I did! 🙂
  11. Let the popcorn balls set for about 30 minutes or until the marshmallow cools down so they aren’t extremely sticky.
