My daughter has an obsession with strawberries! She wants to eat all pink and red food and always is asking me to cut up strawberries for her. The Strawberry Mini Melissa shoes are her most worn pair by far.

When I started thinking about making Valentine’s Day Cards for my daughter to bring into school, the first image that came to mind was a strawberry in the shape of a heart. I have been noticing that chefs like to cut strawberries into hearts around Valentine’s Day. No surprise, I cut my strawberries into hearts for this Strawberry Shortcake recipe.

Classroom Valentine’s Day Cards

These Classroom Valentine’s Day Cards are perfect for my daughter’s classroom because they are not allowed to bring sweets into school. The kids are only allowed to bring food without sugar. These cards can be given alone or along with a small crate container, reusable container, or zip lock of strawberries OR strawberry gummies if you are allowed. Kids love strawberries, and you will get brownie points for bringing something healthy and nutritious to school on Valentine’s Day.

Health Benefits of Strawberries

Strawberries are not only delicious, but they pack a nutricsal punch that you should take note of. Eight medium strawberries contain more vitamin C than one orange. Strawberries are an excellent source of folic acid that helps the body metabolize protein and make red blood cells and they are a good source of potassium too. Research by the USDA indicates that strawberries may help fight cancer, heart disease and other ills.
