Ingredients

  • 4 bread pieces
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Cups milk
  • ¼ Cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ Cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a bowl beat the egg, milk, sugar and vanilla. Set aside.
  • Cut the bread into sticks (around 4 sticks per slice).
  • Dip each stick in the egg mixture and take to a pan.
  • Cook until golden brown.
  • Take out of the fire and dip them into a sugar cinnamon mix until they are coated.
  • Serve and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

This french toast stick recipe is delicious topped with fresh or frozen berries on top with a drizzle of authentic maple syrup.
