Preheat the oven to 370 degrees F. Grease a pie dish and set aside.
In a bowl combine all the crust ingredients and mix until getting a thick dough. Press into the pie dish and bake for 15 minutes. Remove and set aside.
While the crust bakes, caramelize the apple slices, butter, vanilla, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add the ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, allspice, lemon juice, and water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the apples are tender.
Remove the pie dish from the oven and let it cool down for 5 minutes.
Fill the pie crust.
In another bowl combine the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour with your hands to obtain the crumbles for the topping. Top the apple pie with it.
Bake for 20 minutes or until done.
For the sugar glaze, mix the confectioner’s sugar and heavy cream until obtaining the desired consistency.
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool down.
Drizzle the sugar glaze on top.
Serve and enjoy.
