For the Glaze


  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Prepare a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  • In the microwave place the milk for 40 seconds and pour in a bowl.
  • Beat in the butter, sugar, eggs (one at a time), orange zest, and vanilla.
  • Gradually and while whisking, add the flour, cornstarch, yeast, and salt. Mix until no lumps are left and the batter thickens.
  • In another bowl stir the sugar and milk until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the donut pan and place in the oven.
  • Bake for 12 – 15 minutes or until well done.
  • Meanwhile, chop the bacon and take a skillet over low heat until crispy. Set aside.
  • Once the donuts are done, remove from the oven and set aside to cool down.
  • Garnish with the glaze and the bacon.
  • Serve and enjoy.
