Preheat oven to 350F.
Prepare a donut pan with non-stick spray.
In the microwave place the milk for 40 seconds and pour in a bowl.
Beat in the butter, sugar, eggs (one at a time), orange zest, and vanilla.
Gradually and while whisking, add the flour, cornstarch, yeast, and salt. Mix until no lumps are left and the batter thickens.
In another bowl stir the sugar and milk until well combined.
Pour the batter into the donut pan and place in the oven.
Bake for 12 – 15 minutes or until well done.
Meanwhile, chop the bacon and take a skillet over low heat until crispy. Set aside.
Once the donuts are done, remove from the oven and set aside to cool down.
Garnish with the glaze and the bacon.
Serve and enjoy.
