Fall Confetti Treats
These yummy dessert bars are festive Fall Confetti Treats made with Rice Krispies dried apricots, maraschino cherries, & shredded coconuts.
Servings: 12 people
- 6 Cups Rice Cereal
- 16 oz Marshmallows small
- 1 Tsp Milk
- 1/3 Cup Butter
- 1/3 Cup Apricots dried, chopped
- 1/3 Cup Pecans chopped
- 1/3 Cup Maraschino Cherries baking type, not jarred, rinsed, dried and chopped
- ¼ Cup Coconut Rainbow, Shredded
Spray *7x11 (for thick squares, or 9 x 13 for thinner squares) baking pan with baking spray
Melt butter in large pot
Add the entire bag of marshmallow and over low heat, slowly melt, continuously stirring. Halfway through melting, add milk.
When completely melted, work quickly to add cereal, dried fruit, pecans and coconut. Mix quickly until thoroughly incorporated.
Pour mixture into sprayed pan. Quickly wet your hands and push the mixture flat into the pan, smoothing into the corners.
Place in fridge to cool.
