Crock Pot Ginger Chicken
This Crock Pot Ginger Chicken is super tasty and perfect for Tomato Ginger Chutney. It is extremely healthy and low calorie easy to make recipe.
Servings: 4 people
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 2 Cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 Lemon zested
- 1/2 Onion chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves chopped
- 1/4 Cup Ginger chopped
- 1 Tbsp Salt
Start by washing chicken and patting dry.
Salt the chicken.
Pour the ingredients into the slow cooker - 2 Cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 Lemon, zested, 1/2 Onion, chopped, 2 Garlic Cloves, chopped, and 1/4 Cup Ginger, chopped.
Submerge the chicken in the slow cooker liquid.
Set the slow cooker on high for 4 hours.
Use a stained ladle to pull the chicken out of the liquid.
I usually serve this dish with Tomato Ginger Chutney on top. It's great on its own, but it is made even better with the chutney! The ingredients compliment each other so you won't have to grab anything extra!
