Ingredients

  • 4 sheets matzo
  • 4 oz dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup almonds toasted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave heat it for 30 seconds, then stir and heat for another 30 seconds, if not melted, put it back for 10 seconds at a time. (I used a stainless steel mixing bowl over a pot so that the bowl is high above the water and no space between the bowl and the pot.)
  • Spoon the chocolate over the matzo spreading with the back of the spoon until the full sheet is coated. Drizzle with the other colored chocolate.
  •  Sprinkle with fruit and nuts and optional toppings. (I used chopped almonds, apricots, and coconut.)
  • Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes. Break into pieces and serve or store in a refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

You can always make this bark your own with a different nut too. These are so easy to make, that you can also let your children help them make the Passover dessert. I love cooking with my kids. It creates so many memories and helps them become more comfortable in the kitchen
