Jalapeno Cornbread Recipe
Take your Brunch Menu up to the next level with Jalapeno Cornbread Recipe. It is a yummy new way to make corn bread muffins.
Servings: 12 muffins
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal P.A.N.
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs large
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 jalapeños seeded & diced
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Line cupcake tray with non-stick liners.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together whipping cream, melted butter, sugar, eggs and honey.
Pour mixture over the flour mix and stir using a rubber spatula just until moist.
Gently toss in diced jalapeños and cheese.
Scoop the batter evenly into the muffin tray.
Bake muffins for 15-17 minutes.
