One Pot Lasagna Recipe
One Pot Easy Lasagna Recipe made in oven safe pot with penne pasta, mozzarella, parmesan and ricotta cheese with ground beef
Servings: 6 people
- ½ lb ground beef
- 14 oz diced tomatoes
- ½ cup onion diced
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 cup mozzarella shredded
- 1 cup ricotta
- ½ cup parmesan
- 8 oz pasta penne
- 2 Cup beef broth
In an oven safe skillet or pot, brown the onions and ground beef until cooked through.
Season with garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Add the tomatoes and tomato sauce, and mix well.
Add the pasta along with water/beef broth.
Cover and let simmer for approximately 10 – 12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through.
Turn the oven to broil. Add HALF of the mozzarella and all of the parmesan.
Stir until melted, and then sprinkle the remaining half cup of mozzarella over the top.
With a spoon, dollop the ricotta over the top of the dish as well.
Broil for about 3-4 minutes OR until the cheese is melted.
