One Pot Lasagna Recipe

I grew up eating lasagna made by my mom and aunts. They are amazing cooks and have help inspire this One Pot Lasagna Recipe that you make in just one pan. I am all about being able to make meals with the least amount of pots and pans.

 

Easy One Pot Lasagna -14One Pan Easy Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

½ lb ground beef
1 can diced tomatoes, 14oz
½ onion, medium, diced
1 can tomato sauce, 8oz
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp minced garlic
dash red pepper flakes
1 cup mozzarella, shredded
1 cup ricotta
½ cup parmesan
1 package penne pasta, 8oz
2 cup water/beef broth

Instructions

In an oven safe skillet, brown the onions and ground beef until cooked through.

Easy One Pot Lasagna -1Season with garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

Add the tomatoes and tomato sauce, and mix well. Add the pasta along with water/beef broth. 

Easy One Pot Lasagna -3Cover and let simmer for approximately 10 – 12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through.

Turn the oven to broil. Add HALF of the mozzarella and all of the parmesan.

Easy One Pot Lasagna -5Stir until melted, and then sprinkle the remaining half cup of mozzarella over the top.

With a spoon, dollop the ricotta over the top of the dish as well.

Easy One Pot Lasagna -10 Broil for about 3-4 minutes OR until the cheese is melted.
