Lenny Kravitz recently released his new album, Strut. A few weeks ago, Lenny Kravitz came to Miami and taped a live show for Walmart Soundcheck in Wynwood. Episode 2 of the performance just went live this week!
During episode 2, Lenny talks about his upcoming tour and having his album mixed by Bob Clearmountain. Lenny usually mixes his own albums, but this time the vibe needed someone with great talent. Lenny said, “ the record took life after he mixed it.” The album is “Grit and Glamour” and “rock ‘n roll with polish and sheen.”
Episode 2 has an extremely sexy song called Dirty White Boots on it. It makes me want to go out and buy some white boots so I can make the dirty. Maybe I will get Lenny Kravitz to whistle at me! I think the crowd is going to be filled with fashionistas in dirty white boots. Lenny says, “you turn me on in your dirty white boots.” I am sure that every girl will want to do the same.
The Walmart’s Souncheck platform is awesome! I feel like I am getting to know the artists on the site. Every month they feature an artist-of-the-month. This month they are featuring Lenny Kravitz and releasing a new episode each week. You can see Episode 1, my take on episode 1, and of course, episode 2 released this week.
