I started my fiesta by stopping at Publix and picking up a few things like 10 for 10 Avocados from Mexico. Clip Coupons for Old El Paso here.
Here is what I bought at Publix:
2 Pounds of Lean Ground Beef
1 Old El Paso Stand & Stuff Soft Taco Meal
1 Old El Paso Stand & Stuff Hard Taco Shells
Mild Old El Paso taco mix
10 Avocados from Mexico (used for snacks and guacamole for summer evening fiesta)
Mexican Shredded Cheese Mix
For the Salsa:
1 Pablano Peppers
3 Tomatoes
1 Sweet Onion
2 Limes
Salt & Pepper
The best way to get everything mixed perfectly in the taco is to layer with care. Start by layering a small layer of cooked ground beef, then a little bit of fresh salsa, and Mexican shredded cheese. Start over and layer again: Beef, Salsa, and Cheese.
