If you know Disney, you are aware that they know how to make any experience magical. My first Disney Cruise was just that – magical! It was my 3 years old’s first Cruise!! She had a blast and wore more Princess Dresses than any child should own!!
Lol – I packed her favorite Disney costumes – Moana, Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, and Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates for Pirate Night!! Everything that comes with the Disney Cruise is magical, but I wanted to experience the extras!! Here are some of my favorite extras!!!
Bibbiddi Bobbidi Boutique
Just like the one in Disney World, the Disney Cruise has a magic spa where you can be transformed into a Disney Princess. My sweet daughter was dying to dress up as Princess Anna for the Frozen show! We booked an appointment with a fairy godmother to help with the Princess transformation. The experience at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was as much for daughter as it was for me. Seeing her sweet face light up as she got her hair and makeup done was pure heaven for me. She normally never lets anyone do her hair. It is always a fight with me to brush it. She happily smiled ear to ear as the fairy godmother made her over.
At the end of the service, the fairy godmother sprinkled my daughter with fairy dust.
During our voyage, we visited the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique a second time to get dolled up for Pirate Night. The Boutique transformed to a pirate theme where you become a scallywag pirate. It was just as cute as the Princess makeover!! Why didn’t they have this when I was a kid?
Royal Court Royal Tea
For the ultimate Princess experience, you can attend a Royal Court Royal Tea Party where the princess spends some quality time with you child. We entered the room by being announced as a Princess. It was so special. Then, as we drank tea and ate tea sandwiches, each Princess came to our table to talk to the little princesses and share a small charm to go on a charm bracelet. The tea party comes with a ton of cool princess swag including an American Girl sized doll with sash, a beautiful photo of your child and the Princesses, a jewelry box, charm necklace and bracelet, and a special autograph photo book that the princesses sign for you. This experience was just as much for me as my daughter. Worth every penny!!
