During the hunt for the perfect wedding ring for my future husband, I started browsing on Tiffany website and had the pleasure of discovering Paloma Picasso’s new Venezia collection. It is inspired by the beautiful city of Venice, Italy. Paloma’s Goldoni is based on the ornate cast iron gates that offer a glimpse through the windows and into the courtyards of the city’s grand palazzos. Several pieces are inspired by the lanterns that hang from the vaulted ceilings of Venetian landmarks. Ms. Picasso moved from the landmarks and started playing near the water with color by highlighting the city’s iconic striped gondola mooring poles. Every piece of this collection is begging to live in my jewelry box, alas I must focus on purchasing gifts for other.
