Fall Outfit of the Day with Camo and Fall Color Paprika styled by April Erhard, Editor in Chief of April Golightly
After reading InStyle’s Color Crash Course in the October 2013 issue, I was dying to put together paprika outfits. InStyle’s editor pointed out that orange is an attention getting color. You should expect to be noticed in paprika. When everyone is wearing neutrals and black this fall, stand out with a spice of paprika. I found this Michael Kors dress at Encore Plus in Boca Raton, Florida. Encore Plus was nice enough to let me borrow it to wear to Tastemakers this week. The paprika and camo combination was a big hit at Tastemakers. This Michael Kors dress is perfect for fall in Florida and fall transition outfits. Hit up Encore Plus to see if it is still available. I just dropped it off today so it might still be there!
This paprika and camo outfit is a sophisticated take on the army trend. Of course, Camo always looks amazing with orange, but I really wanted this classy dress to be the focal point of the outfit. I belted the dress to create a waist. I try to belt everything I own as it always makes you look thinner. Those of you with pencil body shapes would look great in this halter-esque turtleneck dress as it easy to create curves with a belt. Those of you (like me) with hourglass or pear body shapes would also look great in this dress. The belt really makes the outfit. I would recommend spanks to smooth out your “favorite” parts. I am wearing them here.
If you are really into paprika for fall, stay tuned for a few outfits that I put together with a paprika blazer. Also, check out the paprika eyeshadow from Nars. You can also find this Camo Saddle Bag from Dior at Encore Plus.
Wow beautiful, I love the dress and the outfit, and I loooove paprika. Afterall I’m Hungarian 🙂

Very pretty dress! When I think of the word paprika I usually think of the spice. Great to put a color to a dress with the name!
At first I thought there was a recipe coming when I only saw the title!
Love the color on the dress however!
thanks,
Mitch
