This Big Green Smoothie Bowl it’s a nutritional powerhouse jam packed with nutrients and so flavorful you won’t even realize it’s so full of veggies.
One of my all-time favorite breakfasts is smoothies. I know I know not everyone loves them, but I honestly can’t live without them. The main reason is that once you learn how to make a good one they are so delicious you don’t even realize that they are a nutritional powerhouse, they end up tasting like if a fruit juice had a child with your favorite ice cream (yum!). The other reason why I love them is that they are easy to make which is of course a big plus when you are thinking what to make for breakfast (and already running 10 minutes late).
So needless to say this Big Green Smoothie Bowl has become my breakfast of choice at least 2 times a week. And honestly, I’m pretty sure it’s going to become your go-to as well.
Don’t get scared by the deep green hue because this tastes like nothing but tropical fruits. We have bananas playing it in there which add a ton of sweetness and fruity flavor while also giving a ton of creaminess, so this ends up being a thick and creamy and oh so indulgent smoothie bowl.
Besides that, we have a bit of pineapple and a good splash of lemon juice. And the green? You can thank the spinach for that, but you are not going to feel it at all.
And then we obviously have all the topping and add-ons that take this smoothie bowl to the next level. What I love so much about making it is that you can play with the toppings as much as you would like, add some fruits, a generous serving of granola, top it with nuts, chocolate pieces of even a dash of cinnamon, the possibilities are endless.
