In October at the Savannah Film Festival, I had the privilege of getting a sneak peak at Virginia Madsen’s documentary on strong successful women titled, “I Know a Woman Like That.” After the film ended, Virginia Madsen and her Mother came out for a little Q&A. Virginia was dressed very casual in a pair of classic boot cut pair of dark jeans with a great pair of black boots and a t-shirt promoting the film with “I Know” on the front and “A Woman Like That” on the back.
In that moment Virginia and her Mother became real people to me. It was wonderful to see a mother and daughter come together to make such an important and uplifting documentary, and to look so effortlessly casual chic while doing it makes me warm and fuzzy. I am dying to find the shirt, but after painstaking research, I will have to wait till the movie goes mainstream to get it. In the meantime, I will have to wear my classic jeans and boots with the t-shirts in my collection.
Until I can have my own “I Know of a Woman Like That” shirt, I found some amazing shirts by So-Me Designs that benefits the No More Tears project.
I found Virginia Madsen’s boots on sale at http://www.theoutnet.com.
