Today it was announced that Jon Bernthal (Wolf of Wall Street, The Walking Dead) will be joining the cast of Daredevil for Season 2. He will be playing THE PUNISHER! The Punisher has never quite been adapted properly to screen despite his long-time fan favorite status.
In this version, he will be taking aim at the criminal element of Hell’s Kitchen, and unlike Dare Devil, will have no issues crossing that ethical line of taking someone’s life.
Jon Bernthal has always been great at playing unhinged characters, and Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher is a perfect role for him to step into.
