What to Wear to a South Florida Wedding

Most fall weddings in South Florida are on the beach and because of this your outfit options are much different than most places in the country during this same time period. I recently went to a wedding in Vero Beach on the beach in the middle of the Florida Winter. The fall and winter in Florida is much different than other places in United States by as much as 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The weather could be from 30 degrees to 80 degrees one day to the next. The good part is that you will not likely be dealing with a ton of rain. Rain is a summer occurrence as Florida stays mostly dry in Fall and Winter.

I recently met up with fellow fashionista and blogger, Aileen of Newsy Parents at Sage French Cafe in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sage has a french winery interior with dark wood, exposed bricks and cranberry red accents. It reminded me of days gone by, when I spent the majority of my time studying in a french cafe in Miami. The French Cafe that I spent so much time in has closed. Since then, I have been searching for French Cafe to replace my old favorite. Sage French Cafe & Wine Bar fits the bill perfectly!

I have become a professional baby photographer since I gave birth because I take photos of her everyday! Pulling Them Off – Ted’s Red Boots

I get inspirations for my outfits everywhere I turn. Today’s outfit is inspired a scene in the hit comedy, How I Met Your Mother. In the scene, Ted is trying to convince his friends that he is “pulling off” his red cowboy boots. Ted says, “Pulling them off!” as he stomps his red cowboy boot on the coffee table. It is hilarious! Check out the scene below in the embedded YouTube Video. If you haven’t seen, How I Met Your Mother yet, I would highly recommend it, because it is really funny, well written, and mostly because it was given the time to be a complete show. So many shows are pulled off the air too soon or lose funding at the end. Even though, I have not seen the ending yet, I know based on the final season thus far, I will be satisfied by it. Very few network show endings really satisfy me.

Shopping Minute Boutique

Shopping Minute is a Miami boutique dedicated to bringing women stylish clothes. They opened their online boutiques in Miami in 2013 and plan to open a brick and mortar store in 2014, but until then, they give fashionistas an opportunity to shop online, pop up stores and fashion events in Miami. They will be at the Fashion Happy Hour on Friday, January 31 from 5 pm to 10 pm.
