Hospital Bag Checklist

I am putting together my hospital bag right now as the baby is coming very soon. According to my last ultra-sound at 35 weeks, my baby is 1 ounce shy of 8 pounds. That is amazing and I am sort of freaked out by how big she is. I am scheduled for a c-section because of her size on July 9. To keep my mind off of the c-section, I am packing my hospital bag with the use of my hospital bag checklist. When I say hospital bag, I mean hospital bags as I do not own a bag that will fit all of the things that I might need.

Popbands

My first child is on her way and we just recently had a baby shower were I received complimentary Popbands for my baby shower favors. Popband sent me a extra package of Popband to be given away to my readers. Aren’t they sweet!?! The Popbands are awesome! I have been wearing them non-stop since the baby shower. I wore my pink glitter Popband the other day in my ‘How to Wear Statement Necklaces‘ post. The cool thing about Popbands is that they leave your hair kink-free and look way cooler on your wrist than traditional hair ties. There are so many colors to choose from that it makes it easy to match your Popband to every outfit. Start your summer off right with Popband MultiPack in Pop colors: yellow, blue, hot pink, light pink, and purple. Enter to WIN a Popband MultiPack  using the Rafflecopter below.

DIY Noodle Massager

My husband and I took a Lamaze class recently and the instructor had a noodle massager that felt amazing on my back. She taught us how to DIY Noodle Massager. It is a great way to relieve pressure on your back during labor for almost no money. It is used like a rolling pin on your back and can give relief to your support person. Labor can be a very long process exhausting the mother and the support person.

Beach Cover Ups as Maternity Tops for Spring

There are so many awesome beach cover ups to use as maternity tops out there. I wrote about wearing beach cover ups as maternity tops in the fall.  I found another one from Victoria’s Secret. I bought the bathing suit to match, but I have to wait until I go down a bra size before I can fit in it. Bigger boobs…benefit or draw back of pregnancy?! If you’re small on top, then I say benefit. If you are starting at a D, then I say draw back. At this point, my boobs are the least of my problems!
