My husband is a filmmaker and has been encouraging me to write screenplays and television pilots in my spare time. Unfortunately, my spare time is nearly non-existent, but I ended up writing this short film script during my lunch break.
I had been thinking about a save the date video that would be unique and inspired by Seinfeld. The idea came to me while I was waiting for a boat to pass under the drawbridge by my house. I rushed home and the script poured out of my head into a scratch notebook. It took a total of 30 minutes to write. This Save the Date video was my very first experience acting and writing. My husband and I have since started our own production company, Sun Stone Productions, where we produce wedding and save the date videos like this.
ROFL That was adorable! We actually received a save the date magnet for a friend’s wedding recently, I thought it was a funny idea!
Thanks! Since Kevin is a film maker and we have some much making films together, I thought it reflected our personalities perfectly. It was so much fun to write and “act” in. LOL
