Talking about beauty products is one of my favorite things in life. I could go on and on for hours about the products that I love. Here I have delved into my favorite products and why I love so much. Let me know your thoughts about these products and how you are using them. I am always trying to learn more.

Top 10 Favorite Beauty Items

Monat Renew Shampoo

The Monat Renew Shampoo makes your hair feel brand new and easy to manage. It is the best shampoo that I have used in a long time! I am actually about to order a new bottle of it because I am almost finished with the bottle that I have. I try to use a different shampoo every time that I am in the shower, but when I use the Monat shampoo, I ask myself, why do I bother using anything else.

In order to get all the benefits of the Monat Shampoo make sure to use on sopping wet hair and create a good lather. Then, leave it on for 3 minutes! Then, wash it out and follow with the Monat Masque.

If you are like me, you want to know what is in this shampoo. I am always worried about Sulfates because they strip the beautiful color that I have spent so much time at the salon perfecting. No one wants their perfect color stripped out. I’ve had some bad experience with FORMER hairstylists who recommended a shampoo that contained sulfates thereby stripping the color out that I wanted. It is truly unbelievable how unprofessional and reckless hairdressers can be! If you find a good one, hang on for dear life! Luckily, the Monat Shampoo and all the products they sell do not contain color stripping sulfates. They also do not have Phthalates, PEG, DEA/MEA, Sulfates, Parabens, Harsh salt systems, Harmful colors, or Harmful fragrances. I have not heard of most of these things, but obviously so people are concerned about them because they are on the never list.

There have been studies showing that people grew hair faster while using this product. I have not seen that result, but my follicles did feel more plump and it felt like the moisture was sealed into my hair making it easier to style.

My friend and follow blogger, Jennifer Sanzo sent me these products to sample, but that in no way sways my opinion. I am buying the shampoo and replenish mask from her as I type this. If you want to try them out for yourself, she send you a sample and guide you as to which products are best for your hair. You can also check out her awesome hair on her social media: IG: @JennySanzo and on Twitter @JennySanzo as well.

Monat Replenish Mask

The Monat Replenishing Mask is used to help build hair back after being damages. Since I am about 5 shades lighter than my original color, my hair is pretty much the definiation of damaged. I have noticed that my hair feels more healthy and my follicles seem less brittle when I use this mask. I have used in combination with the Monat Renew Shampoo and other shampoos for color treated hair. It always makes my hair feel and look better. It literally feels like it is masking out pollutants and keeping the moisture in. It works best with the Monat Renew Shampoo, but if I had to choose, I would go with the masque. But, why are you making me choose? I want both!!

Contour Creme Kit & Original Contour Kit

I started using this on my trip to Dominican Republic with my blogger friends, Erika and Michelle. Erika brought both the Contour Creme Kit and the Original Contour Kit which is the powder version of the creme. She showed me how to use it and I was hooked immediately. Now, I have been using it every time that I put makeup on. It has been life changing for me. I am constantly getting complements on how I look from my girl friends. A friend that has great cheek bones, said “when you have high cheek bones like us (meaning me).” It made my day, month, possibly my year.

Since I started using the contour kits together, I stopped focusing on eye makeup and just let my “natural beauty” shine. To me, lots of eye makeup says you are trying too hard. I’m spending my time contouring to a seamless natural look.

Real Techniques Flat Contour Brush

TheReal Techniques Flat Contour Brush helps me with my contouring. The bristles are extremely soft. It is the softest and best feeling brush in my makeup bag. It helps your focus your application of the dark creme contour. In this video, they show you how to use it. I am using it exactly as the gal in the video. I make the line on my cheek bone and jaw. Get the excess off the brush and then buff it in with upward motions on the cheek bone and downward motions on the neck.

Tinted Brow Gel

I have been using my tinted brow gel forever and finally had to buy a second tube. I use the color caramel to soften the colors of my brows since my hair color is much lighter than my natural color. I know some people like a extremely dark brow, but I am not one of those people. I want my blonde hair to look as natural as possible. I take the excess off the brow gel want and add the brow gel to my hairs. I use this angled brush to make my brow longer and to fill in my chicken pock’s scar where the hair does not grow.

Back2Blonde

I have been skipping my hair appoints since I started using Back2Blonde. It’s extremely simple to use. Style your hair as normal and right before you are about to leave, spray your dried roots with the color that is closest to your hair color. It makes your blonde hair last longer by covering the roots. Check out my complete review here:

The review was sponsored, but I had to add it to list because I am a huge fan!

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

This top coat allows me to do my own nails for the first time ever. It literally dries really fast and makes me able to actually do my nails without messing them up. It is unbelievable! After talking to different nail techs, I found out that a lot of them use this top coat even if it is not coming out of this bottle. The only reason I would avoid it is if you are pregnant. According to the package, it can cause deformities in babies. If you are pregnant, make sure that you find out what polishes they are using. You can avoid any issues, by bringing your own nail polish (including base and top coat). Since I am not pregnant and don’t plan to be, I love using the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Pixi By Petra Glow Peel Pads

These little pads are so awesome. I was skeptical about how these pads would work because they are from Target. They have been helping me avoid breakouts. I used them after I wash my face at night and in the morning. Sometimes, when I am really bad, I use them on my own to clean off my makeup.

Pixi By Petra Lash Nourish Makeup Remover

These easy makeup remover pads takes off my makeup and nourish my lashes at the same time. These pre-soaked pads dissolve and break down makeup to deeply clean the delicate eye area while treating lashes. They have argan oil, panthenol and castor oil nourish & replenish lashes. Aloe vera and glycerin soothe the sensitive eye area.

  1. I am very careful about choosing cosmetics. After all, the funds should qualitatively emphasize your advantages, and not spoil the skin. I found a worthy Beauty Spirit manufacturer for myself
