In Seductive Table for Two, lifestyle and romance expert Moll Anderson talks about how important it is to spend time with your partner so that you can focus on them and nurture your relationship. The book gives you ways to keep the entertaining at home. The seductive table for two is a way to take some time to have a date with your significant other even when life keeps us busy. My favorite quote from the book is, “What is love, if not to make life easier for the one that we love.” This really hit home since it came from my husband’s lips as I was finishing preparing dinner. We always help each other out.
Most of the items that I used for my seductive table for 2 was already in my kitchen cabinets. I started setting up the table and went shopping for the missing items, which I assessed to be: napkins, long skinny candles for my candle holders drinks and of course, food.
I used an unused piece of fabric from my sewing box as the table cloth. The polka dots work perfectly with my personality and I figured it would it would be a nice memory when I sew the fabric into a piece of clothing. My hubby might not notice, but I will remind him.
Since I did not have a ton of time to cook and my man has a sweet tooth, I decided to put together a fruit, cheese and candy spread. Since my hubby does not drink and I am pregnant, we drank delicious mango lemonade. The shopping was pretty simple as I only had to go down two isles at the grocery store, the candy isle and the produce isle.
