Vividly Co. Miami Launch Party
A few weeks ago, I attended the Vividly Co. Miami Launch Party at Blo Brickell. The designer of the garments Sabrina was there along with some of the local artists that place their work on the garments. Vividly recently released new piece that work as a garment canvas for the artist. The new pieces include a bomber jacket made of silk and a versatile dress that can go from day to night with just a change in jewelry. Vividly Co. is such a cool concept! Every item in the Vividly store incorporates artwork by an emerging artist, textile designer, or art lover. A Vividly piece is a unique chance to own and wear art.
The workmanship of all the Vividly pieces is awesome. I also love that Vividly is giving artists a way to put their work on real people. The artists also make some money when you purchase pieces with their art on them. Starving artists no more! I got to meet some of the local artists from Miami. It was great getting to meet Alicia and Susana Suman after lusting after their prints online for weeks before the event. Vividly Co. does a spot light on their featured designers so that you can learn more about them. Learn more about Alicia and Susana Suman. My favorite of theirs are the Coconut Grove and Coral Gables. The prints are inspired and named after neighborhoods in Miami. I actually lived in both neighborhoods during my time at University of Miami.
As you can see, each fabric takes the print differently. The cotton of some of the tops and silk of the bomber jacket and the scarves mute the colors and the polyester blend dress makes them pop. The prints look cool either way, but it is fun to experiment!
Vividly actually gifted us a skinny scarf and I got the Coral Gables print! How lucky did I get?! Stay tuned as I will be talking more about Vividly in the future!
Of course, I ran into a few other Miami Fashion Bloggers that are lusting after Vividly clothes! I saw Daniela of Nany’s Clozet, Jana of O.J. & Cigs, Bianca of Bianca’s Fashion Corner, Dee of the Haute Frugalista, D’ana Nunez of Collections + Volumes, and Designer of Furor Moda.
Thank you to Vividly for the scarf and to Blo Bar Brickell for doing my hair!
