Art Basel United Colors of Benetton Party by April Erhard, Editor in Chief of Miami Fashion Blog, April Golightly
Art Basel is an awesome time of year to be down in Miami. It is now the countries’ fastest growing arts fair! I have been attending since my first year at University of Miami. My Art Basel adventure started by checking out United Colors of Benetton 2014 spring collection. I went to a few more events check out some of them here.
United Colors of Benetton, kicked off Art Basel week with a fashion and art event on Monday night. Guests interacted with artist Trey Speegle. They were able to craft their own creations using paint-by-number paper stencils and colorful markers. Gotta love all the interactive art going on during Art Basel. ACDC, the Art Conductor Dinner Club, provided delightful hors d’oeuvres presented on custom “trays by Trey.” Milagro Tequila and Perrier kept attendees refreshed with signature margaritas and sparkling waters.
Speegle styled live models to look like “artist’s assistants” in the playful Spring collection, and had his signature paint-by-numbers series scrawled across limbs, necks, and foreheads as they collaborated with Trey to engage the guests.

Look at all the beautiful spring clothes that UCB has coming out. They actually release the Spring collection a little early to the South Beach, Miami store because of the awesome weather going on down on SOBE.
