Interstellar is being released everywhere on November 7. My hubby has been wanting to see this for a while so we are definitely seeing it in theaters. We might even go see it at the IMAX.
My husband has been dying to see Interstellar and has been talking about it non-stop since we saw the trailer in theaters. We are both huge fans of Christopher Nolan. Interstellar is Christopher Nolan’s take on space and it’s beautiful! He actually consulted with Physicists to create the black hole feature in the movie. The story is about taking one last stand against time to find a new planet for the citizens of a dying earth. It seems like very on topic given climate change issues and the like. Plus, Nolan has earned my money with gorgeous previous movies like The Dark Knight, The Prestige, and Inception.
We are also super excited to see Matthew McConaughey in a leading role with depth. His performance in the HBO series, True Detective sucked us in!
Since the movie is about space, I think it is fun opportunity to take kids to movie night. We can get them amped up about science with a fun activity that makes space interesting. My Science Teacher mother in law would be so proud! We went to the Barnes & Noble to check out the planet books. This is fun for the entire family since we are all into space!
You can also try out some other space and science crafts like the Stained Glass Planet Earth, Plastic Lid Solar System, Moon Scape, Junk Model Space Rocket, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Craft, Jet Pack Costume, Blast Off Science Game, and Solar System Snow Globes.
Paramount Motion Pictures “Interstellar” in IMAX November 5th, everywhere November 7th.

I’m so excited for Interstellar. It looks like a great movie, and I’ve always loves space flicks.
I am hoping this will be as good as the commercials make it look!
Glad you got into SocialMoms! That was a quick acceptance/campaign. Woohoo!!
This sounds like a fun one. I’d like to watch this with my son.
I just heard about this movie for the 1st time on the news this morning. Definitely on my bucket list to go see!
We’re seeing it this weekend also, and can’t decide on whether to spring for IMAX or just see it regular.
My hubby really wants to see this one too. I hope that we are able to go this weekend. My son is going tonight.
My son is obsessed with outer space and I love Matthew, so this will be a movie we will both enjoy
We haven’t been able to go to this yet- did you love it?
