The How to Make your Skin Soft post is sponsored by Lunchbox about Vaseline® Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion. All opinions are 100% my own.
This week I took the Vaseline Challenge trying out Vaseline® Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion for 5 days all over my body. My skin has showed a noticeable difference in softness. My hands and feet are probably the driest parts of my body due to excessive washing and abuse. The rest of my skin is pretty dry as well because it takes a back seat to parenting and work on April Golightly.
I could tell right away that the Vaseline® Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion was better than your average lotion because it did not evaporate immediately upon application. Most lotions leave my skin dryer than it started because of perfumes and alcohol.
My mom stopped by this week to help me with my daughter and notice the lotion in my bathroom. Apparently, she has been using it on her extreme dry skin and it has made a huge difference in her skin. She thought she had sclerosis or eczema for a while, but she went to the doctor and was cleared of both conditions. The entire time it was just dry skin. Now, after using the Vaseline® Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion she no longer has the issue. I wish I had before and after photos for you, but always covered her arms before. It would get red and very itchy. Now, she is wearing sleeveless tops! I am super excited about how much it has helped her and excited about the difference it is already making in my skin.
Besides actually making my skin softer, the Vaseline® Intensive CareTM Advanced Repair Lotion is a great deal! Head to Walmart to buy Vaseline® Intensive CareTM Advanced Repair Lotion.
Now that both me and my mom too the Vaseline Challenge, you should try it out yourself and let me know the results. Is your skin softer?
Here in Boston, it’s cold & the cold dries out my skin wicked bad. I NEED a good moisturizer.
I live in south Florida, so I don’t have to worry quite so much about the cold drying out my skin. It still gets a little bit more dry in the winter months, though.
Cute outfit by the way! I have such dry skin it is crazy, I am all about a good moisturizing lotion for sure!
Ugh, I hate dry skin and battle it all the time. I will have to check out this lotion. Thanks for sharing
I have to stay on top of my skin care during the winter. I live in Rhode Island, and those winters can be super rough on my skin.
Thanks for these great tips. Winters can get pretty rough where I live, so this is a great post for me.
I love this lotion, I have been using it for a while now! Makes for great skin!
Your legs look great–love those shoes, too!
Exfoliating is a great way to remove the dead skin and dirt and oil left behind on our skin. Of course following up with the lotion helps replace moisture lost, especially this time of year.
I’m a BIG fan of Vaseline products – so I can totally see how it would help!!
HAH! April I can see your Sass coming back. This is my favorite outfit post of yours and I love all you do! So glad Vaseline helped your mom, skin conditions can be so annoying.
The harsh winter wind always causes my skin to be very dry.
I will have to give this product a try and see if it will help me as well!
I will definitely have to take the Vaseline Challenge. My skin gets very dry in the colder weather.
I’m a long time user of Vaseline. I had no other choice when I lived up North in the cold!
I love Vaseline! I use a few different kinds depending on the season!
Your legs looks great. And those shoes, love them. I always have Vaseline around. I use it for so much.
I’m constantly getting static from my wife and daughter both about my “hobbit feet”. I wonder if this could help with my dry, calloused feet and scaly elbows?
