This past weekend we did a Delray Beach Family Staycation together with fellow influencer and friend, Angela Cruz (check out her post here).
Some of the business hosted my family for these experiences, but I only write about what I would pay for out of my own pocket and am always 100% honest with my opinions. Thank you for reading!
Where to Stay
We stayed at the Cranes Beach House in Delray Beach. It is a lovely spot that feels like you have been swept away to the Keys with a quick 15 minute drive from Boca Raton.
We found a spot for our car immediately and checked in early to our beautiful suite with a full kitchen!
The deluxe suite at Crane’s Beach House is an amazing choice with a comfy pull out couch for the kids and a king size bedroom for the parents!
I am on a special diet so I was so happy to have a room with a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator and stove!
I packed a small cooler and a snack bag to be ready for breakfast and a few meals. The living room area has nice size table and chairs so we ate out breakfast and lunch in the room. It is a great way to save money if you want to splurge for dinner and Sunday Brunch in Downtown Delray!

Dining at City Oyster
For dinner, we went City Oyster on Atlantic Avenue. It has a fun vibe with amazing food.
We sat at the very stylish striped booths along the back wall and really got to see the fun happening at City Oyster.
I started the meal with a Butterfly Effect cocktail, the Carpaccio of Tuna, and Jordan’s Smoked Fish Dip.
The Butterfly Effect cocktail normally comes with Fords Gin, Canton ginger Liqueur, Butterfly Pea Syrup, Fresh Squeezed Lemon and Lime Juices, but I swapped the gin for Tito’s Vodka.
As a seafood lover, I ordered the lobster tails and my friend ordered the Petite Plateau. You can get the Grande Plateau or the Petite Plateau which includes – 4 Oysters, 4 Littlenecks, 4 Cocktail Shrimp, and Jumbo Lump Blue Crab Meat.

Playing Pinball at Silverball Museum
The Silverball Museum is unique treasure that is both an arcade and game museum. The owner is a collector of pin ball games and decided to put them to use first in New Jersey and then lucky for us, in Delray Beach.
You can play games that are not only historical, but super fun! The Skee Ball games are from 1909 and the pinball machines range from the 1960 to present day.
My daughter and husband are big gamers and are probably going to make this place a weekly daddy daughter night out.
I was super happy planning a little pin ball and getting to hang with my mom friend over very good food and access to a full bar!

Treat Yourself
Delray Beach has so much going for it as a vacation destination and that is made 1000 times better by an amazing spa! Bella Reina is a tiny spa, but brings a whole lot of amazing treatments within a small space!
I love the intimacy of the Bella Reina spa and the facials are always amazing. I keep going back from more.
The also have amazing dazzle dry polish which lasts a lot longer than regular polish or gel. These appointments fill up fast so book in advance so you can enjoy your trip with stylish nails.
You read more about my Bella Reina experiences in this blog post – Bella Reina Spa – West Palm Beach Spa and Spa & Wellness Month – Spatober.

Night on Atlantic Avenue
The newest hot spot in delray beach is called Throw Social. It is a fun indoor outdoor restaurant with tons of games and live music.
Throw Social has axe throwing, corn hole, several dart boards, giant connect 4, giant Jenga, and many more.
The food looked amazing, but we just hung out and listened to the music and played games.
Find out more about Throw Social here.
We ate dinner earlier in the night at Delray Market. It is a cafeteria type place with a DJ and lots of food options like Boba Tea, Pizza, Chinese, Ice Cream, and even a Delicatessen.

We had an amazing time on our Delray Beach Staycation. As a family, it is nice to get away from the daily grind and take some time to travel – even if it is only 15 minutes from your home base!
