Gourmet Dining Experiences
Food lovers will delight in the culinary offerings at Tideline. There are two on-site restaurants, Brandon’s by The Beach and Mizu Sushi Bar. Gary Mawu the Chef brings together amazing flavors from Japan and all around the world to make dishes that are truly unique.
Brandon’s on the Beach is newly renovated with amazing decor that fits the ocean vibe of the resort perfectly.
You can dine al fresco on the oceanfront terrace, where the sound of waves and a gentle sea breeze provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.
Brandon’s on the Beach Brunch
Brandon’s on the Beach has an amazing brunch with delicious takes on your classic favorites. The Coconut French Toast was our favorite with brioche bread served with chantilly whipped cream, fresh berries, guava drizzle, candied pecans, and just a hint of coconut.
The size and softness of the brioche is truly unforgettable. We loved it so much that we ordered it everyday that we were at the resort and will be definitely coming back for it and it haunts my dreams.
Brandon’s on the Beach Dinner
The dinner at Brandon’s was epic as well with the Chef’s flavor choices standing out in every dish we tried.
The Brussel sprouts starter is made with truffle miso aioli, panchetta and goat cheese. Chef Gary Mawu’s use of flavors is mind blowing with his mixing of traditionally Japanese flavors like miso with European flavors like goat cheese, pancetta from Italian cuisine and aioli from Spanish cuisine.
Bringing these choices together makes it a truly unique dish that I have never tasted before. In fact, it was the first time my husband actually enjoyed eating a Brussel sprout.
Mizu Sushi Bar
The Mizu Sushi Bar is a great way to try out Chef Gary Mawu’s creations with a Japanese base of delicious fresh sushi. On our first night at the resort, my daughter and I enjoyed some sushi rolls.
The Emperor Roll has a mix of flavors seen in the dishes on Brandon’s menu with traditional Japanese flavors are mixed in with Mediterranean flavors like aioli. Mizu also has a Omakase meal for two special that
You can get the sushi rolled served within Brandon’s. This is a great idea as my husband is not a huge fan of fish and does not enjoy sitting at the sushi bar. You can have one family member eating steak and be eating sushi at the same time. It really makes for a great dining experience for the whole family.
Pool and Beach
With the resort being right one beach, you can go from your room to putting your feet in the sand in mere minutes. The resort also puts our luxury chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and have a fresh infused water station right on the beach. You can skip lugging all your beach gear and just bring your family to relax on the beach.
The elegant infinity pool is a great place to spend time with your family with the pool depth of between 3 and 5 feet. We loved sitting in the hot tub with the waterfall behind us to unwind with water sounds in the background.
