Flowing dresses make great maternity tops. This dress is great for weekends and pool days. I normally belt it at my waist, but wearing a dress as maternity top required belting above my baby bump. I bought the Nanette Lepore dress from i-Ella a few years ago.
I know belts can be annoying during pregnancy, but this ribbon belt from Target is flexible and did not annoy me at all. I would not recommend hard leather belts during pregnancy as they can hurt. We pregnant women are a little sensitive to constraints in movement during pregnancy. Normally, belts that hit at my waist are not particularly comfortable, but I deal with the pain for the sake of fashion and making my waist look smaller!
