Earlier this week Marvel Studios announced that they had started production on Captain America: Civil War, which is the third installment of the Captain America movies. With all the stars in this epic however, it looks like it’s shaping up to be a good old-fashioned Avengers reunion.

The movie will be released in almost exactly one year from the first day of principal production and it is directed by the Russo Brothers and produced by Kevin Feige. Of course Chris Evans will be returning as Cap, and the cast list includes a bevy of Avengers characters, such as Iron Man, Black Widow, Falcon, The Vision, Hawkeye, War Machine, and Scarlett Witch.

Additionally, Chadwick Boseman will make his debut as Black Panther and Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Ant-Man (coming out this summer!)

According to Marvel, the story will be picking up almost immediately following the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Captain America and his new team of Avengers get into an international incident that causes enough collateral damage that political pressure is placed on the accountability of the Avengers.

My inner fan boy is squealing with glee! When I was a kid I never thought that this would happen, and now it is has! Keep an eye out here for more updates as they get released!
