Summer for me is all about being outside and spending time with my family having fun. My daughter just turned two this summer, and she has brought summer back to life for me. For the years that I was working in an office, I dreaded the summer! It meant that I would wear the same wardrobe except with added heat. Can you imagine a black suit, pantie hose, and pumps in South Florida during the summer? My munchkin has reopened the world of summer filled with outdoor activities!
My little munchkin is swimming three days per week at school and now has a new found affinity for the Pool! It is her new favorite word. Pool, pool, pool, that is what says until we get in. When she gets home from school, she either is ready for a nap or ready to go in the pool again. I’ve had to go in full dressed before because she did a bee-line for the pool.
When we were in Pennsylvania visiting my husband’s parents, she was just as enthusiastic about being in the water. Here are some awesome 4K video photos that I captured with our Panasonic LUMIX G7.
The Panasonic LUMIX G7 is the perfect mom camera! It is light weight and easy to use DSLM camera (M= Mirrorless). I have been taking it with me everywhere we go! My huge DSLR camera is way too heavy to lug around everywhere, so I don’t end up taking it with me at all. It stays in the house mostly.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 is a Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera that came with a 14-42mm Lens. The intelligent auto setting and touch screen makes it easy to use even if you don’t know how to use or the manual setting or you don’t have time to set them.
The 4k Video mode is what I used to capture the cuteness here! It is the coolest thing I have ever used! I haven’t missed capturing a baby smile since I got this camera. The 4k mode allows you to take 4k video and photos at the same time!!! All you do is hold down the shutter, and it will keep going. After you take the video, the Panasonic LUMIX G7 allows you to choose “that moment” from 4K Ultra HD Video taken at up to 30 breathtaking frames-per-second, and extract it as an 8-megapixel still image you can share with built-in Wi-Fi. I don’t know about you, but I have tried to get screen shots of videos on other cameras and it is just blurry and poor quality even with very high-end DSLR cameras and crazy expensive video cameras.
The camera also has Exclusive DFD Focusing for fast and precise auto focusing that tracks the subject! The camera focus chases the kids automatically so you don’t have to do it manually!

My family has yet to make it to the city pool. It just opened this because of all the flooding in the area. I am waiting for the rush of people wanting to swim to slow down a bit.

Your photos make me want to go swimming! I feel similar to you in that by having a child, it makes me want to do get out and make the most summer. The camera took really crisp pictures!

I used to love my Lumix before I bought my Nikon DSLR. It did me a great service and I managed to get through two of them in four years and two month long Disney World trips!

These are some great photos. I’ve seen some bloggers with the mirrorless cameras and I wish I had done my research when I was buying my DSLR because I would have choose one of those.

i totally agree with you, the little ones do make summer more special! we just bid goodbye to summer a few months back and I am missing it already.
