Cutout Top

Pregnant or not, I love this cutout top look. It is especially effective if you want don’t want to show off too much cleavage. The cut out look shows off just enough skin. The cut out look is easily obtained with a scissors and a little DIY spirit. This top is a tad more sophisticated than the cutout button down top DIY that I have been seeing bloggers wear.

Shot Rockers

Shot Rockers has amazing classes to help you take better photos. I have been trying to get better at photography for a while now and my husband has been trying to explain the concepts to me for a while, but for some reason the numbers just do not sink in. I think it is partially because the numbers are so counter intuitive. I end up using the intelligent auto setting on my NEX-5n more often than not.  My camera even explains what different things mean and I still just don’t get it.

Personalized Birthday Gifts

My birthday just past and I have been on the hunt for personalized birthday gifts for myself to celebrate my new last name. I finally got to the social security office to change my name! I am now an Erhard! I chose the galvanized beverage tub with stand to be used at the several of the parties that I will be having this spring and summer. We just purchased a new home and will be having a house warming party, baby shower, and several pool and BBQ parties. This tub is perfect for drinks by the pool area.

Buying a New Home

My hubby and I have been in the market for a new home for quite some time. We have been house hunting all over Boca Raton, Florida for over a year. Most of the homes that we have looked at in our price range need a ton of work. Considering this, I have been exploring buying a new home. Newly built homes allow you to trade your to-do list for a want-to-do list. There is no need to spend time on repairing and remodeling. The new homes are more energy efficient than others on the market.

Non-Maternity Maxi Dress

I am getting bigger by the day and the only piece of clothing that is comfortable for me right now is a maxi dress. I have been buying a ton of non-maternity maxi dress from T.J. Maxx by Max Studio. The dresses that have been gravitating towards either have an empire waist or are scoop necked t-shirt maxi dresses. I figure that I can wear these non-maternity maxi dresses after the pregnancy is over. I hate to spend more money on maternity clothing when I could be buying these non-maternity maxi dresses.

Heidi Hess

Heidi Hess is an amazing designer of hand-loomed sweaters. The fabric is hand-loomed in New York and feels like a dream. I tried on so many pieces just so that I could keep touching the fabric without having to pet the sweaters on the rack. Regardless, I ended up petting some on the rack as well as while I was trying them on.
