When my photographer and I were going over the plan for wedding photos, I chose to spend more time on the photos of me getting ready for the wedding rather than at the end of the reception. The getting ready wedding pictures from Pinterest and wedding blogs enticed me.
With my first anniversary around the corner, I decided to break out some photos from my wedding. As a fashionista, I was obsession with the fashion details more than anything else. I purchased an endless supply of shoes to go with my wedding dress and ended up wearing 3 pairs on the big day. Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton had multiple dresses, but I loved my dress so much that I did not want it to have any competition.
I have not stopped wearing my Sphere of Life necklace since I got it! The mixing of metals make the necklace easy to wear everyday. I recently wore it with my new wedge sneakers and with my watermelon top and tons of other outfits that I did not photograph. Wish I had time to take pictures of them all.
Rosa Clara is a wedding designer who wanted to help women find a unique and special dress for her big day. These are some of the dresses that were shown at Miami Fashion Week. I love how original these dresses are. The designer found that many women were deeply dissatisfied with what was available in the wedding market. These brides wanted to get married in a special gown that reflected their uniqueness. Rosa Clara Bridal is truly unique and carries a wide variety of sleeved gowns. When I was looking for my gown, I was not interested in wearing a strapless gown as I wanted to hide the arm and side-boob fat that is on display when wearing a strapless gown. I found my dress at Ever After in Miami. It was a beautiful dress by Reem Acra named “I am Beautiful”. I might have gone with Rosa Clara if I had known about them when I was looking. After listening to me whine about how tough law school was, my sister decided to avoid law school like plague. Avoiding the institution was easy for until she met her current boyfriend who is a 3L at Nova Law School in Plantation, Florida. She is going to be her beau’s date to the upcoming Barrister’s Ball. This gala is a tradition of all law schools that I know of where the law students cut loose and break out the prom-wear. Barrister’s Ball really is the law student’s prom. I went every year when I was in law school. You know me, I jump at any excuse to get dressed up. My sister and I went prom shopping for a law school prom dress. We found a few amazing prom dresses at Nordstrom.
