I love coming to the Chanel counter at Lord & Taylor in Mizner Park because they have a let you play policy that gives you freedom to see their products in action. Since I have sensitive skin, Barbara from the Chanel Counter at Lord & Taylor, helped show the best products for sensitive skin and help me tone down my uneven, red and blemished skin without feeling like I have a ton of makeup on.

Cleaning the Skin

We started with the LE BI-PHASE VISAGE is the face makeup remover that has two phases, each with a key ingredient: the water phase offers the antipollution power of Blue Micro-Algae, while the emulsion phase gently delivers the fortifying benefits of Marine Salicornia extract. When the bottle is shaken, the two phases blend into a solution with exceptional makeup-removing power. This is perfect for all skin types because it is extremely mild and residue-free formula. I have this at home and have been using it for a year.

Because my face is sensitive, Babara used the the LOTION CONFORT which is a soothing toner. It is helps hydrate and soften dry or sensitive skin. The non-drying formula thoroughly and comfortably cleanses, with deeply moisturizing effects. This is great for a quick cleanse and feels great on the skin. It feels extremely refreshing on the skin. You apply in the morning and evening with a cotton pad to thoroughly cleansed face and neck.

Blue Serum

The newest thing at Chanel is the BLUE SERUM. The ingredients come from THE WORLD’S BLUE ZONES. This is a lightweight, nourishing serum helps keep skin looking younger, firmer and healthier. After 4 weeks of use, skin appears smoother, with a 35% reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, 26% firmer and 37% more even. The blue zones are places on earth where people live longer: Chanel is calling the areas the Blue Zones. Chanel Research sourced three longevity ingredients from the diet of the Blue Zone populations.

GREEN COFFEE FROM COSTA RICA

Heightened antioxidant properties help shield the complexion. The green coffee has 70 times more antioxidant active molecules than are found in regular coffee beans.

BOSANA OLIVES FROM SARDINIA, ITALY have Essential fatty acids.

LENTISK FROM IKARIA, GREECE are aturally occurring Oleanolic Acid helps reinforce skin’s natural restorative abilities.

I have been using this for 4 weeks and have noticed a difference in my skin. My skin feels brighter and healthier lately. I have been applying in the morning and evening to cleansed skin.

Eye Gel & Moisturizer

On my eyes, Barbara used HYDRA BEAUTY MICRO GEL YEUX.  This is an INTENSE SMOOTHING EYE GEL that can be used both during the day and at night time. On my entire face, Barbara used the HYDRA BEAUTY FLASH. This on-the-go moisturizer combines Camellia Alba PFA* and Blue Ginger PFA* with the hydrating power of Shea Butter and Moringa Butter for an immediate smoothing effect. Soft-focus powders and pearly particles visibly diminish the appearance of skin imperfections by creating an even texture with less visible pores.

CC Cream

The CC Cream is something that I will definitely re-buying. I like using it as a primer if I am going to do a full face of makeup. It brings down the redness. I also use it when I don’t want to wear makeup like when I go to the grocery store or to the beach so that my skin tone looks more even and I am protected from the sun. The Complete Correction Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is Enriched with anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties. It is super lightweight and feels like you are not wearing anything! It creates a nice even face for me. I love that it protects and soothes at the same time. The Broad Spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen effectively blocks age-accelerating UVA-UVB rays. Anti-pollutant ingredients help remove impurities and protect skin’s natural defense barriers to help combat free-radical damage, which can lead to premature aging. You can apply CC CREAM to the face with your fingers or a brush. I use a sponge usually in the color 20 Beige.

Foundation

For foundation, Barbara applied the LE TEINT ULTRA TENUE ULTRAWEAR FLAWLESS FOUNDATION with Chanel brush #7. This foundation has a light-diffusing complex creates natural luminosity and leaves you with a  matte finish that does not feel heavy. I use the Chanel LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW FOUNDATION BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 25 at home everyday.

Set the Foundation

Barbara set the foundation with LES BEIGES Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15. I always have this powder in my bag no matter what. I used it over foundation to set my makeup. It comes with a sculpted half-moon brush that you can use in large sweeping movements over the entire face, from the center outward. I like that is lightweight and doesn’t clog my pores.

Barabara recommends waiting to put the concealer on until after you put on your eye makeup. This makes it easier to clean up.

Eyeshadow

To prime my lids, Barbara used a Shadow base called BASE OMBRE À PAUPIÈRES in 04 BEIGE. The primer can be used on its own to conceal eye imperfection or as a primer to help your eyeshadow to stay put and vibrant.

For eyeshadow, Barbara used the LES 4 OMBRES MULTI-EFFECT QUADRA EYESHADOW – I have 4 of these little quads. Today, we used the 226 TISSÉ RIVOLI. Chanel quads are extremely pigmented and are distinctively chanel. I can always tell that they are chanel on my friends.

Eyeliner

For eyeliner, Barbara used the CALLIGRAPHIE DE CHANEL. It is a LONGWEAR INTENSE CREAM EYELINER that is waterproof. You can apply with a thin brush to create a customizer liner look that stays put.

Lips

The newest in lips from Chanel is LE ROUGE CRAYON DE COULEUR. It is JUMBO LONGWEAR LIP CRAYON that I have been wearing non-stop in rose clair. Barabare used 2 colors on me today to create a custom look. You apply by first, lining the lips with the point and then fill them in with the side of the penci. She used the  N°2 ROSE VIOLINE and N°3 ROSE CLAIR.

Brows

The LA PALETTE SOURCILS DE CHANEL is a BROW POWDER DUO. We used the color 40 NATUREL. The brow kit is super cute and is an all-in-one brow kit that features two powder shades, mini tweezers, a mini brush and an angled applicator brush.This is on my to buy list because I cannot live without a Chanel tweezer!

Blush

For blush, Barbara used the JOUES CONTRASTE POWDER BLUSH. The blush is extremely pigmented so start slow and build.

Chanel Fragrance

To finish off my look, Babara used the CHANCE EAU TENDRE EAU DE TOILETTE SPRAY to create a lovely essence to finish off my look. Chance Eau Tendre has a grapefruit and jasmine with a white musk. This is a lightly  sweet and dainty – Delicate and airy  Chanel fragrance stays put all day and even overnight.
