Christmas Tree Cupcakes
Since we are starting to put up the Christmas decorations, I figured that I would make Christmas Tree Cupcakes to celebrate! This helps with the learning process for my daughter. We talk about colors, different ornaments shapes (this Wilton Christmas Sprinkles variety pack is my favorite) and you can even find alphabet sprinkles to work on letters to preschool aged kids. I have not seen fancy sprinkles in the grocery store, but you can find some of them on Amazon.

How to Make Christmas Tree Cupcakes out of Ice Cream Cones
If you feel like frosting with a piping bag is difficult you can always make easy Christmas trees out of ice cream cones. It is incredibly simple. All you need are some cupcakes, waffle cones, green icing, and sprinkles.
First you melt the green icing in the microwave. It doesn’t take long, maybe about 20 seconds.
Next roll the cones in the melted frosting to coat them completely.
Before they dry add the decorations to the cones so they will adhere to the trees.
After they dry, simple top the cupcakes with the cone trees.
Another fun way to decorate Christmas Tree cupcaks out ot ice cream cones, is to spray them with edible frosting spray. You can add some glitter and shine this way and make your trees extra fun.
