I purchased all the ingredients for this DIY months ago and finally had time to put it together. My inspiration were the Mawi bags that I saw on Moda Operandi. I found most of the items at Bealls Outlet and was able to keep the cost under $25.00. Considering the cost of Mawi bags which range from $948 to $666, the bag was a steal. After all, I have a baby to save for!

Pour 4 oz of glitter into Ziplock Bag
Close Ziploc Bag and mix the glitter and Mod Podge together.
Paint on the glitter and Mod Podge mixture to cover all the blue areas of the purse. Take care to avoid the silver areas.
Shake on the excess glitter. Allow purse to dry overnight.
Tape off the silver parts of the bag,
Spray glitter area with Acrylic Sealer.
Take apart the necklace, bracket and earrings using jewelry plies and scissors.
Using plastic adhesive, glue on the crystals and embellishment in a symmetrical design. Here are some ideas for the embellishment design. Once the purse is completely dry, shake purse over the garbage to get loose glitter off the purse.
