Christmas décor to me can seem generic to me. So, I decided to make my own decorations.  Surprisingly, no glitter was involved.  I picked up a reindeer figurine from Good Will for $2.00 and decide to make it more modern by using a little paint.

Ingredients

  1. Figurine
  2. Silver Spray Paint
  3. Sand Paper
  4. Gloves
  5. Spray Paint Surface

Step 1

Sand figurine

Step 2

Wash off the figurine. Make sure to get rid of all paint dust.

Step 3

Set up spray paint surface. Here, I used baking containers and tops to protect the floor (or in your case the table) from the paint.

Step 4

Spray paint the figurine. Let your first coat dry overnight and flip over the figurine so that you can get the bottom and cover the entire thing.

Now, you have a unique Christmas decoration that will be ultra festive with other semi-festive items as a centerpiece.  Try pairing it with 2 other items of varying heights, using the decorating rule of 3.
