My daughter absolutely loves Dory and Nemo. I cannot even tell you how many times we have been on the Dory ride at Epcot. It’s kinda crazy. For her 3rd birthday, we decided to have a Dory Birthday Party that was indoor and outdoor by the pool. It is the perfect summer birthday theme.
Photo Booth
For the photo booth, I printed out the letters, Dory, Nemo and Seaweed on my Cricut. The letter went nicely on top of the pre-made banners from Target.
Party Table
For the party table, I used a royal blue table cloth, Dory tissue boxes to elevate the food that I had catered, white cake plate to elevate the rest of the food.
We also bought orange and blue gumballs to fill the glass candy jars, Dory Dishes, matching blue silverware, and Dory Cups.
The Dory balloons are so super cute and you have to get a big number for the age of the birthday girl or boy. For decor, you can grab a “Happy Birthday’ Dory Banner, Dory Center Pieces, Dory Cups, and use these free printables.
Birthday Cake
There is an amazing baker in my town that I always use for my cakes, but I just cannot justify making characters out of fondant. I prefer putting the characters on top of the cake and cupcakes instead. Of course, make sure that the toys are BPA free so you are not causing any problems. The skirt toys are the perfect choice. I bought a ton of Dory toys to use as decor and to play with in the pool.
Pool Party
For the pool party, I dressed up my daughter in a Dory bathing suit and found one for me too. Then, I bought Dory floats and had my giant flamingo for rides. If you have little kids, this Dory water table is a really fun idea. The good swimmers dove for the Dory sinkers.
