I shop at my local drug store every week and know all the beauty section workers! That is why I was so excited to be selected as one the bloggers to share my Drug Store summer beauty essentials with my readers.

I already have a ton of drugstore makeup in my makeup bag, but this gave me the chance to try out some new items and but new colors in my faves!

Revlon Photo Ready Foundation with SPF 20 #shop #WalgreensBeauty_

I started out prepping my face with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer and a spray primer. Then, I used the Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in 2 colors to contour a little to give my cheekbones more pop.

Revlon Photo Ready Foundation with SPF 20

The foundation gives you a dewy glow because it is lightweight and non-greasy. You can use it for light coverage in the summer to hide your imperfections and build it up for full coverage. It also contains a good amount of sunscreen with an SPF 20. This is perfect for everyday use in the summer when you are looking for a healthy dewy glow.

After the Foundation, I layer on a little powder. You can skip this step if you are not oily. Next, I use the Maybelline New York FIT Me Blush in Medium Nude on the apples of my cheeks.

This blush and bronzer inexpensive and the store display is user-friendly. It was fun getting to pick colors off of it. The staying power is pretty great for a drugstore find and it has not caused any breakouts or visibly clogged pores. That is probably because it is oil free! Together I use them to contour my cheeks similar to the way I would use a NARS blush/bronzer duo that cost $42. The 2 blushes were $5.79 each and there was a sale on Maybelline for Buy 1 get the second 50% off. That means this #WalgreensBeauty blush duo was $8.69!

Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Cannes Crush & Miami Fever

I could not decide between the sherbet orange color of Miami Fever and the pinky coral color of Cannes Crush so I bought both! They are both great colors and I know that I will wear them until there is no more this summer. I started by reverse lining my lips with my #4 pick: NYX Wonder Pencil in Medium. You line the area around your lips with color that matches your skin tone. I buffed it in with a makeup blending sponge. Then, I lined my lips with my #5 pick: Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lasting Finish Stay On Lip Contouring Pencil in Rose Quartz. Lastly, I applied the Cannes Crush Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain. It stayed on even while I was eating. The shininess disappeared a little, but the color stayed. You can either reapply after eating to get a glossy look or grab a clear hydrating gloss or Chapstick.  I really like these Stains because they are creamy, hydrating, highly pigmented, and long wearing.

6. Maybelline New York Pumped Up Colossal Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara in Very Black

I topped off my makeup look with a few swipes of Maybelline New York Pumped Up Colossal Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara in Very Black. I wear Waterproof Mascara during summer so that I don’t sweat off my lashes and I can hop in the water at any time without worrying.

7. Essie Nail Polish in Sunday Funday

I finished off my summer look with an aptly named nail polish called Sunday Funday by Essie. It is dark pinky color that looks very similar to the Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Cannes Crush. I love the color and have been wearing it non-stop on my fingers and toes.

  4. Budget Beauty has really stepped up its game in the last couple of years. I am loving the Prestige glitter shadows right now. Comparable to the Stila line, and like $3-ish apiece.

  8. You are so cute! I will check out that foundation. Although being oily I’m not really a fan of the dewy look, but with a powder that should be fine.
